Re: MR6550 IMEI and telnet access

Hello I'm new here. I recently switched to t-mobile and now I have 2 extra unlimited data sim cards because of the plan I got. So I got the bright idea to put one in a hotspot, so I bought a netgear m6 pro mr6550-pas. After the fact I learned I either need a hotspot data sim OR from what I've read ...

Re: T-Mobile Loss of Internet but Modem is saying connected

All carriers seem to be doing an all out war on VPN use on cell data. It's odd as heck.

Have you tested it ok outside of the VPN use, or tried a simpler proxy, or just used TCP only on the VPN?

Gaming services and VPNs use UDP traffic heavily, and that is seemingly what is getting messed with.

Understood. You want to self build, support, and warrant. :) Pretty much what the cost of the InvisaGig is.

They have rj45 modem sleds on alibaba that you drop your own 5G modem into, or buy theirs, and use AT commands or opensource code to give it a web interface for sending at commands.

Ts9 to sma, yes. I would never use any rf cable splitters or "Y cables" as it just shorts your antenna ports together; bad.

As long as you have the specs on the ports as to which are the primary pair, you can use those two for the outdoor antenna.

I usually revert to using the usb ttyl / UART serial pins to see what's happening in the bootup phase. You will want to use the 16M firmware images, very unlikely you have a 32M version, and even then the 16M version will work.

tbh I leave IPV4 off and let it tunnel IPV4 traffic over IPV6 via XLAT/CLAT exchanges done on the modem and carrier side. Automagical.

Since the carriers paradoxically CGNAT the IP6 here in the US, it's kind of pointless, other than interest and fun.

Re: M01K21 router with GoldenOrb, Verizon issues

Download the latest version of Rooter for it here: under Alwaylink-M01K21: http://aturnofthenut.com/autobuilds/ They are all the same router, as long as you have the mediatek version with the yellow ethernet ports. The black ethernet ports one is not the same. All the tools and directions for flashi...

Re: InvisaGig Update v1.0.8 is LIVE!!!

Yep, there are some DIY versions out there. Eventually there may be a commercial non-diy competitor, likely out of China. The InvisaGig is made to be as easy to setup and use as possible for the modem tech that it is. Plug and play with the right SIM card, minimal setup to get going for other SIMs. ...

Re: Sierra Wireless Air Prime Model EM7455

Sorry I didn't look close enough at your pic. Your picture shows the network adapter, but no com ports. Re: Info on InvisaGig from TheWirelessHaven?

It does have onboard heat control. Thermal switch turns on the Noctua fan at ~55C. It can operate under 90C, preferably under 75C. I have yet to see a modem get killed by heat that wasn't extremely excessive, like direct sunlight in Arizona Summers. Most are fine, some need to create some active sha...

Re: Info on InvisaGig from TheWirelessHaven?

It's a 4x4 MIMO 600-6000MHz outdoor directional panel antenna with space inside and hardware to simply drop the InvisaGig inside with a PoE splitter (will be included and a poe injector). The second pic is of the clearance inside with the InvisaGig loosely placed. There is a plate there to bolt it d...
