AT+QRSRP seems like its not fully fleshed out. I think it only shows the active antennas RSRP, meaning that if 4x4 MIMO isn't active then you get the two duplicated results, like the two 92s. Since 4x4 MIMO isn't always active you will have a hard time catching it on all 4. At least that is what I'v...

The LM960A18 is a great modem honestly, but the RM502Q-AE is a step up, so it's really up to your budget and willingness to spend to try it. LMR400 is your best bet there. With cabling you get what you pay for really, usually at least.

In most cases the most cost effective for longer runs of 4 antenna systems is to move the modem out with the antennas, eliminating the long RF cable run.

Re: X55 T99W175 modem

That's 100% no go for any openWRT router that I know of, like the 1608, as they all use the USB bus for modem interface.

Re: Best Router

For plug and play , works with carriers on their data only plans? I would say Peplink has been really pushing the bar for the new 5G stuff and getting acceptance from T-mobile lately on their 5G data only plans.

For customized diy routers. It's all subjective and still pretty wild west.

Re: Connection Monitoring Mod to Reboot Modem

Lots of us have. I tend not to use it. Sometimes it can cause reboots when it's not necessary and I don't know why. The latest versions do have a cool page load versus ping feature though.

Re: Indoor Antenna Suggestions

What kind of antenna connectors does it have for adding external antennas? I've never touched any Huawei routers myself, that I know of.

Re: Which Quectel Modem

Maybe the RM510Q-GL if you want the possibility of mmWave use itn eh future, otherwise the RM502Q-AE is prob the best bet right now.

Re: NEXP1GO with Quectel EM160R-GL on Calyx

It connects but randomly disconnects?

I always triple flash the firmware to the router without saving settings as a baseline for troubleshooting issues.
