Your getting 2xCA and you have a fair signal, with a CSQ of 27. Max is 31 and is the goal. Id say focus on signal optimization, and leave this one alone.

The phone is likely getting better signal. Phones are made with MUCH higher category modems and very powerful transmission strength. The we826 needs a solid pair of antennae to match the phone. Signal strength is your culprit most likely. I get 85+Mbps on my we826/mc7455 with just the rubber spike a...

Usually an easy start is the we826 router with a Quectel em12 or a Sierra em7565 or em7511 modem, using a mpcie to m.2 key B modem adapter.
Ive not used one, but a Cradlepoint CBA850 is popular and simple to setup.

You will definately be bottlenecked by it, but your prepared it seems. You can always upgrade later. The zbt wg3526 has gigabit LAN, but also needs an adapter. MIMO is the use of multiple antennas. CA is the use of multiple frequency ranges within a single band, simultaneously. You can get CA without extra antennas. I think the telit LM960 uses all the bands you want. Yes, with the right mPCIe to M.2 key B LTE modem adapter, you can put any m.2 key b form ...

No, the mofi was getting lesser speeds because the nighthawk has better antennas inside. The mofi, which again is a white labeled we826 with an mc7455 inside, is capable of atleast 85-90Mbps. Re: WE826go with mc7455
Also, does the SIM info populate in the GUI under Modem-->Network Status-->Modem/Sim Information
ie: Modem IMEI, SIM IMSI, SIM ICCID, SIM Phone Number
Don't post those numbers anywhere, just asking if its populated there in that section

Re: WE826go with mc7455
After you set all the settings, did you fully power down the unit (unplug it) then reboot and give it approx 10 mins? Where is the SIM card from? Was it attached and transmitting data in a previous device before entering into the we826? What output do you get from entering AT!GSTATUS? in the AT comm...

Re: My 4G setup/project
I looked at them a while back, and they were all low level CAT rated, verses buying the newer Sierra MC series modems which supported the latest LTE releases. The HAT version doesnt have a modem embedded like the shields previously. Its pretty new-ish. https://sixfab.com/product/raspberry-pi-base-h...

Could always get a WE826GO from thewirelesshaven.com and pop in a modem of your choice.

Are you powering the usb enclosure separately or are you relying on the usb from the pi to power it?

Re: CLB100 TMobile
What firmware do they run on that router? What modem does it have inside? The router itself is a rebranded ZBT WG3526. I run mine (WG3526, with a Quectel EM20G, previously a Sierra MC7455) on Sprint, but it shouldnt be hard to get running properly on Tmobile. Do you know where your carriers towers a...

Re: Mini PCI-E adapter with SIM card slot
The Sim card slot on that adapter doesnt touch the modem as it seems it might, atleast not in my build it didnt. I have one installed in a WG3526 router using a Quectel EM20 modem. The SIM card slot isnt for use in routers that have SIM slots. The WE826T2/GO has its SIM slot on the outside, so it'd ...

Re: Are Sprint sim cards device locked?
Ya got me, misread the chart on Quectels site.
So yeah, Id say that the R850 was faster because it was rockin it on B41.

Re: Are Sprint sim cards device locked?
I was incorrect, B41 is available on the EP-06
But you may want to check if your using B41, Modem->Network Status I believe
Or At command AT+CSQ I believe

Re: Are Sprint sim cards device locked?
Also the r850 can pick up B41, the Quectel EP06 does not I think I read. Sprint Band 41 is the speedy DL channel, but very capped upload, whereas the FDD, lower, channels (25,26) CAN have better upload speeds but dont match B41 DL speeds.

Re: Are Sprint sim cards device locked?
The franklin MAY have been getting better signal. The EP06 is a more capable modem, but the hotspots can be pretty well optimized out of the box
