I've found that QMI doesn't do well for me on Verizon nor T-mobile. I just default to MBIM for everything now. Same here, Its becasue the QMI interface does not support 464xlat networking. So, i created a 3D printer .STL file to replicate the lid for the modem enclosure. I added a spot on the top for me to mount a 40mm fan as well to cool the modem.
