Okay, N71 is pretty much the only usable band in my area. Any advice on how to automate the router taking care of this issue instead of me finding out we have no internet, logging in and rebooting the router? Appreciate the help so far btw.

If I wanted to kill the wifi radios I assume all I need to do is go under Wireless and hit disable on both?

Thank you very much! That cleared everything up. I am going to send it in for repair. What cables would you recommend for the panel antenna that was suggested? Also, do the cable runs experience any significant loss (shorter being better)?
