Hey new guy here... I think I know what's wrong. You need to do a factory reset, but make sure your sim card is NOT installed in the modem. Once the 5500 is fully booted then you can insert the sim card and it should start to work correctly. It sounds silly but I had the same problem with the 5500. ...
