Re: Orbi LBR20 How-To / Megathread

Hey I already have an orbi 20 working perfectly fine with voxel firmware. But I'm trying to troubleshoot another one for a friend. It's making the directories but upon reboot the files disappear. It won't even save nvram noarmor 1. I've tried flashing to the original netgear firmware and back to vo...

Re: Orbi LBR20 How-To / Megathread

Just wanted to give a shout out and huge thanks to @hazarjast and @Voxel. Finally got cell locking down good instead of band locking and fixed the circle mod. I appreciate what you guys do :D

Thanks again

Re: Orbi LBR20 How-To / Megathread

Circle_Jerk sits in a partition that doesn’t get wiped by a factory reset but factory reset does reset Circle settings which should keep it from running. Without SSH’ing in and manually removing the files and reverting to the factory files in the backup folder, you would probably have to flash a ne...

Re: Orbi LBR20 How-To / Megathread

How do I delete everything including circle jerk mod and start with a fresh slate? I've tried nvram erase, factory reset, plus pin reset back of router and almost all the commands remain + netgear settings.

Re: Orbi LBR20 How-To / Megathread

You will need to use the band calculator to determine the hex for locking the bands. https://wirelessjoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=943 Example Command echo -ne "AT+QCFG=\"band\",0,42000001003300385a\r\n" | microcom -X -t 1000 /dev/ttyUSB2 worked perfectly. Instantly locked ...

Re: What Modem/Router?

I'm a heavy B71/N71 user here. I use a Quectel RM502Q. I'm in a rural area, and have it hooked up to boltons which are hard to align, but also tested it with yagi's and panels with similar results. I have it in a H71 router that I got on The Wireless Haven. Its in 4 & 5G NSA mode, which means i...

What Modem/Router?

Recently did a trial with t-mobile since verizon is very congested in our area b13. T-mobile connected to 5g surprisingly and band 71 which during peak hours was 25-30mbs at midnight it was 50mb down and 1mb up. Don't have access to tmobile home internet sadly. Looking at trying out pcforpeople or c...

Need help with plan + devices

Currently have a pixel 5 on verizon using that as a hotspot and a inseego m2000 with tmobile 100gb. Verizon plan is play more unlimited 5g - Needless to say it's congested to hell and back locked on band 13 - I'm lucky to get above 1mbs during the day. Honestly, Gonna talk to the family didn't know ...
