There are risks involved anytime you load firmware, however they are much greater when using cross sku's and when you dont increment versions by one like they are meant to be.

That is because these factory packed firms (spk/cwe) do not write all parts, especially the parts you need it to. and some of them it only writes generic or non specific values, such as parts of the efs, userrw, cust and hdata. you can see my screenshot to compare the devices partitions and the unpa...

There should be no spaces in those AT commands unless you are using some tool that was coded to need a space.
I do not have that device but those tracfone devices usually do not have this access, they lock them down pretty good.

Your ports are already enabled? I ask because this (network turned off) happens usually when someone has been sending commands or editing files trying to do something.
But the answer is the same as I told you over at xda, reload the firm or the modem partition and it will be restored to "on"

It works on yours because 6450 is a non-branded device, it will not work on the 6500 that the op asked about.

its interesting your 6450 is still also using the old algorithm on newer firmware, the other devices/firmwares in this class (MR) use the new algo.

It may load fine on a working device but not recover yours because it is missing a partition that happens to be borked on your device.

when in fastboot mode, the only port you will have is an android port, no other ports will be open as the device will be in bootloader so all you have to do is watch your device manager while your trying to get to fastboot.
Most devices will have a black screen when in fb mode, some may show a logo.

Re: Att M6 pro band profile selection

So the first 2 slots are used by default, one should be 4G and one should be 4G + 5G, you are saying you cannot write slots 3 thru 9 ? if the answer is no, this usually means you are not sending the correct bitmask or just the correct command format.

Re: Netgear LM1200 Hacking and info thread

I guess it is a big secret, there is nothing on the FCC pages about it, no CPU/chip specs, and it maxes out at 150mbps so it's pretty much a dinosaur, its a lm1200 but with lan and wan port

No, I do not need them, but yes it is a mail-in-only service because of the type of load it is, it cannot be done over network, it would take a couple of days to complete and likely would not run to completion uninterrupted which would mean you would have to send it in to be recovered anyways. Gabe, I just made a tool to hard code the real ports on these MRxxxx devices so they will stick thru factory reset. so no more fool...

Or use" ATE" to enable terminal echo so you can see what you type, it should work on minicom I think.

Re: MR6550 full firmware ported over to mr6500- anyone want to beta test it ???

I have a dozen betas already, we dont want to over-do in case there is something wrong with it, which I highly doubt, but you never know. I made it along factory lines and only modified the update address so it cannot connect and update, everything else is factory 6550, if there is any issues it wil...
