1) The modem is used (primary)
2) As a failover, it will use the WiFi Hotspot

I believe these were my problems along the way: I had initially followed the instructions correct; however, I did not have the extra custom TTL Rules in there. They are round and about 8 inches tall. I don't think it is an antenna issue because with my phone I get a strong signal (4-5 bars usually)... and the system doesn't show a weak signal... the signal shows dashes because it is not connected at all. .... and... the signal was fine before the reboot. After rebooting (unplugging and plugging back in), it is working like it did before I swapped the position of the SIM card. ie. says "Connecting", but there is no signal information.

I changed the SIM card location and it is now connecting; however, it is so slow that fast.com only shows 0, and speedtest.net can't even load. googling "test" took over 10 seconds to get a reply.

As a point of clarification, I put my sim card in the adapter for the modem. There is, however, a sim card adapter on the motherboard as well. Should my SIM card have gone there?
