Wireless Joint

Purchased the WG3526 and installed the Sierra Wireless MC7455.

Have since switched to a modem that will pick up band 71 installed in old MOFI router (i like the form factor )

Asking $175 obo.

I have a ZBT WG3526 that has an EM7455, GoldenOrb installed.

I'm in the process of upgrading so I'm still using my MOFI 4500 sim7 so I can pick up band 71.

The tower nearest me just bumped B71 from 5mhz to 10mhz.

My download speeds have more than doubled.

This was a pleasant surprise.

Just remember if using band 71 make sure your external antennas support the 600mhz range, many start at 700 and work their way up I have 1 antenna now that supports the 600mhz range. Last time I spoke with someone at MOFI (June-ish ) they had mentioned Sept/Oct as the target release date for the 5500. I guess with everything going on that got pushed back significantly.

I just flashed r00ter to my unused mofi4500 SIM4. I'm going to play around with that a bit as a way to start learning some of this stuff. I think want to squeeze as much speed as I can out of my in the sticks location.
