I have acquired a new modem and set it to use generic firmware and I get the following error: "Selected Carrier(Generic)/ SIM(Verizon) - mismatch"

I'm using APN vzwinternet

Not sure how to get this generic firmware to work with a Verizon SIM

The response is !READY The reason I wasn't able to see the other three slots must have been browser based. I switched to a different machine and different browser and can now see the list. How do you clear the carrier preferences?

That was very helpful, Yipzy. Thank you. I have managed to delete the slot that had the generic firmware and the slot with the verizon firmware and am loading the latest firmware build for Generic but I am still running into the same problem of timing out on the "Setting Mode(file 1 of 2)"...

Also where do I look up the AT commands for my modem?

I have a CBA850 and need to choose a modem for it. I will be using this in pass-through mode to a unifi USG and it will be used in an RV all over the country.

Which modem should I choose?

Any other recommendations or comments are welcome.

Openwrt actually bridges interfaces just fine, it's the rooter scripts that stops the bridge from working. Rooter is just not set up for this feature. If you want a true bridge just dont use rooter.
