I was using the USB C cable via tethering but it kept dropping the signal. So I'm just using the Mifi by itself now. Thinking my router might be bad? I need to get the antenna situation figured out first then when I get stable download speeds I'll mess with adding a router. If anyone has suggestions...

I'm totally comfortable tinkering with it. It seen these same connetors in iphones. They connect the wifi and cellular antennas. How can you tell one connector from another? Measurements? Which 4 are for MIMO Vs wifi? Also How is it possible to get this to work with no bat? I've thought about it and...

The cable looks like its quality made. But it wiggles more then any usb connector ive seen. I am new to usbc connectors. But as I gently wiggle the plug side to side or up down it will disconnect and reconnect. So that definitely has to be the issue. Thanks for the quick help!

Sense its momentary by the time I look it still shows it connected. The usb cable is the usb to usbC wich came with the Mifi. Its brand new.

Never thought of putting the Mifi on the roof. What type of water tight enclosures are available that wont block the signal? Where would you look for one of these? And not sure what active usb cable is. Is it exterior rated? Meaning will sun and rain hurt it?

So I just went on the roof and got some exciting results. My base line was 20 down .8 up. This is with the Mifi in the window. Up on the roof I got better and better results as I walked around and messed with angling it up/down. Next I got 29 down and 2.56 up, moved some more and got 36 down 2.96 up...
