Without looking at the exact commands that were used, it continues to be hard to even guess what's going on.

The simplest solution is to put a GO router with the modem in front of this box and see if you can reproduce the issue.

Does the $20 Postpaid ATT iPAD plan have text/minutes?

Does the $20 Postpaid ATT iPAD plan have text/minutes?

Or it's strictly LTE only with NO text/minutes?

Re: Want to use Verizon

I like Quectel modems. Since they can be set up for auto reboot. Some modems like sierra wireless have to have power cycle (turned on and off). Which can't be done automatically. Can you explain this to me a bit more please? Like what's the usecase and why using the router power toggle from GoldenO...

Appreciate it.

Do you plan to use it in a modem or tether a phone over USB?

if I remember to activate a sim for visible it must be installed into a "vsible approved device" aka one of the devices listed on their certified list. Luskily when I was messing with it I had an old original generation pixel xl which just happens to be on their approved list. i have seen...

Re: Goldenorb configuration

I'm still trying to troubleshoot some odd issues with the Calyx 5G SIM in just about any openWRT based router I have. It works, but odd things don't work most of the time. The IPV6 base of the SIMs account type or something is just not fully 100% working and I'm not big brained enough to see it. ye...

Re: Troubleshooting the VISIBLE throttling issue...

As mentioned in my post, AdGuard is a dummy VPN which, from what I understand, routes traffic internally through the AdGuard internal VPN on the device to handle ad-blocking/filtering, before routing packets out through the WAN connection on the device. This isn't setting up an encrypted tunnel bet...

If it works in a phone but stop working the moment you put it into the Modem, then it's not a compatible plan.

What's your plan?

Because it's the laziest way to detect tethering and as we know - easiest to get around.

ATT doesn't care. VISIBLE does. VISIBLE wants people who are mostly on wifi and barely use their phone service.

Re: Troubleshooting the VISIBLE throttling issue...

What is your confusion? VISIBLE does aggressive deep packet inspection and shapes the traffic accordingly. You're bypassing that by using a VPN and VISIBLE does not yet do that level of aggressive deep packet inspection yet. So this will work until VISIBLE shapes your kind of VPN traffic or blocks y...

Re: T-Mobile Plans: Prepaid vs. Postpaid

You should check to see if you can get T-Mobile Home Internet. Some people say they can get it with different address then use their real address for shipping purposes and get it there and use it. I am sure I can get T-Mobile Home Internet. That's not the issue - I just don't want to deal with the ...

Re: T-Mobile Plans: Prepaid vs. Postpaid

Yes it slows down at speeds up at times. But never to the point where you can't use it. Low be around 35 down and high be about 85 down. Also keep in mind this on one band 2 with 15 MHz. No carrier aggregation. But my tower has been updated so it is faster. Parents on older T-Mobile tower with CA B...
