That's not to bad, but a bit more than I want to spend. Big worry is, will it work with the ATT Mobley plan, I really don't want to have to use something else, as it's been rock solid for years and years with me, and I usually use around 1TB a month. I'm glad it's working for you, but most people are unable to set up a separate VPN box. Updated: Wifix The Wireless Haven Ping Test, while I'm sure it works, isn't a solution, waiting 10mins before it checks ping is way to long. A version in which this is shortened to like 5-10 seconds could help, but the 10min mark, you're already going into the router page and rebooting it yourself.

It's not a DNS issue. It's ATT black-holing your traffic with their transparent proxy. So as the title states, was working great for like 8 months, but last night around midnight, it dropped and has not connected back to the internet. I'm using a MVNO for verizon (tracphone). It shows connected to the tower no problem, but it won't connect to the net. Below is what's going on, I'm rea...

Need help picking an Antenna

So it's been about a month, I've got everything setup and running smoothly on WG3526 and MC7455, I have decent ping (120-150ms) but would like better speed and latency. I'm about 2miles from a verizon tower and am looking for an antenna that will be able to up everything. What would be the best thin...

Re: WG3526 - Wifi is up and down constantly, and devices require a static IP to connect.

My current work around right now is LEDE/ROOTer running as the main router with DDWRT as the repeater for Wifi. Wifi is turned off on the LEDE/ROOTer router and on with the DDWRT box.

Hopefully it will be eventually stable enough for me to turn it on with the WG3526 box.

Re: Utilizing ROOTer as a Repeater via Wired + Access Point for Main Router

Just FYI if anyone runs into this, flashing from LEDE/ROOTER to the Archer C7 DDWRT requires you to use the factory to DDWRT image, you cannot use the DDWRT base image.

Re: WG3526 - Wifi is up and down constantly, and devices require a static IP to connect.

Just to update, the wifi issue is definitely not fixed. Its still failing to allow my Android devices connect. The laptops seem to work fine but phones and tablets not at all, even when forcing a static IP address they just drop constantly or never connect at all. Going to try the latest build tonig...

Re: Utilizing ROOTer as a Repeater via Wired + Access Point for Main Router

So, you want ROOter to be LTE+WIFI+DHCP, and you want to reuse a second DD-WRT router you have as an AP only, with an ethernet cable running in between them? Or are you not talking about using LTE functionality at all, and just wanting a second ROOter AP that is wired to your existing DD-WRT router...

Utilizing ROOTer as a Repeater via Wired + Access Point for Main Router

So I've done this a good bit inside of DD-WRT but never with LEDE/ROOTer and am finding very little on how this is accomplished. Basically I want to have my main router be DHCP to my second router via Hard Wired connection, then that router also running LEDE/ROOter be Wifi Access Point #2. I do not ...

Also Jim is it possible to change the topic to WG3526 vs the WE so no one comes here and thinks this is for the WE.

Re: WE3526 - Wifi is up and down constantly, and devices require a static IP to connect.

Just to update this for anyone who is having issues with wifi to android or iphone devices. Get a app called Wifi Analyzer on the play store (anything that can check channels), search for the least crowded channel. In my case, I was on channel 11 and had 2 other items on it as well. Changed it to ch...

At this point I've done that so many damn times, after I read your comment and was like how the hell did I mess that up. I went and reflashed that image from the uploads, and did the OEM reset...just finished redoing my routes and everything is back up. Even have 5ghz again. Showing 20mw and 15mw fo...

Super late reply on this, but I've reverted back to the one Dairyman sent me. So the Chinese menu popped up, your guide is way old and the menu has changed. Not hard to figure out though, so I got that taken care of. So now that I'm on the earlier version of Rooter, YaY. Bad news is....my Wifi, whil...

The uploaded image file does not contain a supported format. Make sure that you choose the generic image format for your platform.

Getting this error, and it's if I pull the .bin file or upload the .zip
