Budget Outdoor 4G/5G Antenna Project

It's been so long. I wanted to try something new. Ill probably might make a future YouTube video soon about it. But I'm switching from the Sprint Mifi 8000 running on Human I-T (Mobile Citizen). I will be using a cheap $15 enclosure that I've previously had bought from eBay as a 4G Antenna for this ...

Sprint Mifi 8000 using Tmobile (Full Time)

It's been roaming on T-mobile for over 2 weeks. It's now connected thinking it'll jump back onto Sprint's band but not this time.. It's now consistently stays on Tmobile without the roaming icon. I'm guessing the sprint sim (provided by from Mobile Citizen) is no longer being provisioning on just Sp...

Re: Accidentally turned off LAN for rOOter, router isn't coming on.

I've connected to the computer through ethernet. But it shows as an Unindentified network. It only shows up the ui of My mifi 8000 since it has been the only internet source for this router is through USB. My mifi ip is set as 192.168.1.1. But the computer ip address is 192.168.1.11. And I've forgot...

Re: Mifi 8000

Make sure the setting on the mifi 8000 "Menu-->Settings-->Roaming-->Allow domestic data roaming" is turned on. Theres another for international, turn it on too. Why not? :) BillA, I overlooked my own info saying B2 is avail on Tmobile and then I said they were likely roaming on Verizon or...

Re: What is the right sprint 4GLTE router for me?

Okay here's an update guys. The nighthawk x4 is gone. The coolpad is gone. I returned the netgear hotspot because they was sure of not letting anybody switch to an unauthorized sprint device so I been stuck with the coolpad even after the x4 broke down. I didn't realise that the nighthawk wasn't ful...

Re: Converting a 4G LTE antenna into a long range Wifi antenna?

Lol it's cool BillA. I'm pretty new to this stuff anyway so I'll just reclaify. Basically I have this $15/mth low income internet. Only downside is that it's using Sprint 4G LTE only. Good thing that's its now being converted into the new T-Mobile. There focus is really 4G LTE and 5G. So my plan was...

Re: Converting a 4G LTE antenna into a long range Wifi antenna?

And that was my mistake is that these are designed for urban areas. However given that it's hard to actually find a good working antenna that there's a reason for me to detuned these. That way I have a stable connection even through rough weather. Very very powerful. Here's my concept for just my sp...

Converting a 4G LTE antenna into a long range Wifi antenna?

I have two sets of 88dbi 4G LTE antennas. One with ts9 connectors for my sprint mifi 8000 and the other with SMA connectors for my Netgear nighthawk X4 running openwrt. The TS9 antenna works great especially on a dish, I've detuned this just a bit by weatherproofing it and upgrading to a bigger blac...

Combining 2 identical pair of 88dbi 4G lte mimo antennas into 1?

Obviously I'm so new to having 4g lte speeds as my primary internet in which I intergraded 1 88dbi 4g mimo antenna onto my old directtv satellite dish at home for my Sprint Mifi 8000 with cat 18 technology. The mifi by itself works okay... So with the 1 antenna hooked up without the dish it was gett...

Re: What is the right sprint 4GLTE router for me?

Hey. I'm running the netgear nighthawk x4 ac2350 with openwrt. Then I have dd wrt running on my old netgear n600 v2. Then I have this coolpad surf mobile hotspot in which I'm about to upgrade to the Netgear MIFI AirCard 779S for better features and support vs what I get on the Coolpad. Includes 2 ts...

Re: What is the right sprint 4GLTE router for me?

I understand that the real modems you mentioned does indeed fits best for most. However, not so easy with new beginners like myself. However, I want to have something different with something different to install. I was able to connect both the Coolpad and ac2350 wirelessly. However the ac2350 doesn...

Re: What is the right sprint 4GLTE router for me?

I knew I bought the wrong piece. As far as the Coolpad, you know, ive did spoke to the guys from mobilecitizen upon if i can switch devices because I rather have home broadband vs mobile. So They said as long as its a sprint lte mobile hotspot only then I can make it work that way since this Coolpad...

Okay ignore that. I have to think of an alternative because my time with at&t is running out. So I bought this netgear ac2350 with the update of mu mimo and I've bought an 4g lte mimo antenna with the ts9 connector. So I also bought 2 sets of ts9 to rp sma cables for the netgear ac2350. The sign...

What is the right sprint 4GLTE router for me?

I always wanted to have home broadband since I was a child. So I'm getting this $15/mth Sprint 4GLTE internet plan billed from Human I-T, (powered by mobilecitizen). No throttling, no caps. There are several drawbacks, it's that the plan is designed onto Sprints 4GLTE Network ONLY. So it degrades sp...
