Not sure what calculated code you are referring to. It does not require the same unlock (and generate a code) technique as the earlier Sierra models.

IMEI is only half the equation. You will also need to change the TTL value.

From my experience and unless something has changed, Verizon requires to a TTL of 65 or 117.

Not familiar with the process of changing the TTL on the MR5200--but I feel certain another member can share directions.

To use the EP06 on a PC, it must have a Mini PCI-E modem slot to install the modem. Otherwise, you will need to purchase a USB to Mini PCI-E modem adapter enclosure with a SIM card slot. Re: Messing up with TTL using different variations... still getting throttled and frustrated

Can you connect the phone to the router and SSH into the router using putty and run the following command: ifconfig -a Need to see what interface is being assigned to the USB phone. Look for the interface that shows IPV4 and IPV6 addresses. I do not have a gi.net to test but, and looking at your pre...

Re: Messing up with TTL using different variations... still getting throttled and frustrated

hydrocynus I updated the rules above to cover the IPV6 tables (which I just noticed did not get copied on my original post). Another way to write the rules which makes it easier to modify the Interface being used and the TTL assigned to that interface: #INTERNAL MODEM 1: INTERFACE1 = wwan0 TTL1 = 6...

Re: Messing up with TTL using different variations... still getting throttled and frustrated

The rules below assumes the USB interface is assigned usb0 (which is common for tethering). The rules also cover use of an internal modem where the WAN1 interface is assigned wwan0. Adjust the ttl-set # to your desired TTL #startTTL iptables -t mangle -I POSTROUTING -o wwan0 -j TTL --ttl-set 65 ipta...

Re: WE826 Checksum Failed

The initial issue is that you are trying to upload a .zip file.

You will need to extract it and upload the .bin file that is compressed within the .zip file.

Re: Affordable Low-loss Coax cable type for outdoor antenna!

Note that the Wilson antennas cover the 700-2700 MHz range, which excludes the 600MHz necessary for Band 71 and bands above the 2700MHz

Compare them to THESE or to THESE.

What can I troubleshoot next? You may want to include a little more information as a starting place for others to assist you. Can you explain how you configured the router, and what steps you have taken to troubleshoot the issue? You may also refer to THIS tutorial to give you a starting place.

Re: Enabling Wireless on NEXQ6GO-M with quactel EM12G

I would use this WiFiX Quick Setup Guide and restore the router firmware to its default settings (Page 7, # 18). After the router resets, I would start at the top of the guide to configure the router. I would also stick with the stock theme and colors until everything else is configured and operatin...

Check to make sure connection monitor is disabled in the modem profile.

I seem to remember it will not play fair with load balancing/failover.
