I think the current carrier name needs to match the preferred carrier name. So they both need to say Generic

Carrier name and all that still say miss-match. Going to flash a new firmware and see what happens.

Will it now accept the restore to OEM command? Unfortunately not, each firmware I've flashed I try to OEM command and get the same result. It's odd, because it seems to actually flash the files, because it always reports whatever version I install. but the OEM command never works and it stays in LPM.

Also I dont know if it matters but during most of these tests I do not have a SIM card installed in the modem. Only when I move it over to the WE826 have I been putting the SIM in, as I only have one active sim and its my primary means of internet.
