Re: MC7455 - stuck in loop
Understood. You want to self build, support, and warrant. :) Pretty much what the cost of the InvisaGig is. They have rj45 modem sleds on alibaba that you drop your own 5G modem into, or buy theirs, and use AT commands or opensource code to give it a web interface for sending at commands. Yea, it's...

Re: Router Locking Up
I've been having ongoing issues with my network, which seems to be related to the invisagig or the cell network. If you scroll to the last few posts in the following forum thread it appears that the modem is handing out DHCP leases when the modem loses it signal causing my LAN devices to lose conne...

Re: Router Locking Up
Thank you for the detailed post. For clarity, "The first I would suggest would be to set the IPPT MAC address of the PFSense WAN port manually" I assume means copy the IPPT MAC from the IG ui, then paste it into the "MAC Address" setting of the pfSense WAN interface configuratio...

Re: Router Locking Up
For the WAN interface the IG is connected to, you may also need to uncheck the option for blocking private networks since the 192.168.225.1 is in the RFC 1918 space. Your post prompted me to read the RFC 1918/Private Network Addressing Wiki, which made me realize that the private address range 10.x...

Re: Router Locking Up
Sure. I'm going to give it a few days, at least through the weekend. Previously I've thought I'd solved it only to have the issue start back up a few days later. This time though, I'm a lot more optimistic.

Re: EM12-G on Raspberry PI 5B
The issue was sorted out by https://github.com/4IceG He found that this module has a custom firmware and was taken from a laptop and suggested to use MBIM mode and it worked on OpenWRT

Just to say thank youDidneywhorl wrote: ↑Thu Jun 30, 2022 3:26 pm closest you can do is: AT+QCFG="lte/bandprior",30,12
I believe that's the one
Run the commands AT+QCFG=?
and AT+QNWCFG=?
and AT+QNWPREFCFG=?
to get a list of all the possible commands.

Re: Router Locking Up
An update: I had to go out of town, so I wrote a sh script in pfSense router to ping LAN IPs of several devices that should be online. If no response, reboot. If OK, then ping internet servers. If no reponse, cycle the WAN gateway on/off. The evening before I was leaving, the network went down, the ...

Re: SIM8380G-M2
Played around with putting the SC card inside on the PCIE card and couldn't get a stable card initialization in either mode USB/PCIE Something weird with that card working in only certain scenarios even with the new cables Slab is working fine with the SC card and the same software issues trigger th...

Re: SIM8380G-M2
Interesting.... The Fibocom works well as a backup but, it's SLOW In MBIM mode / PCIE mode the modem seems to be using hotspot data and when doing a traceroute it shows the hops across TMO's network vs the IPv6 generic 192.0.0.1 in USB mode w the SIMcom The HS data brought back to mind the TTL 65 wo...

Re: GoldenOrb NFT TTL settings
Best explanation I've seen: https://www.maroonmed.com/ttl-modification-for-outgoing-traffic-with-openwrt-22-03-and-firewall4/ F*ckin' ayy! They always have to mess with stuff which ain't broken. No more nice Custom Rules GUI, but silly command line config. :( Seriously, what were they thinking when...
