Usually a high upload and a terribly low download means your tower is saturated with users and you are being deprioritized.

Typically wifi antennas are reverse polarity, and are not compatible with the LTE SMA setup. The antenna will screw into LTE SMA connector, but wifi sma-rp antennas are female and LTE SMA bulkhead connectors in the cases are female as well.

How can you tell? The only way I can is by looking into the end of the connector, the outsides are identical between RP-SMA and SMA. That is something I've never had get mixed up..... Yet

Look up the command AT+QNWLOCK
I'm about to fall out to ed. I'll try to dig up more info for you. I'm not certain the EC25AF supports this command. Try it by entering it in the AT command terminal with only a ? at the end, like AT+QNWLOCK? or AT+QNWLOCK=?

Usually the only way is to log into your cell account and look. That is IF it gets reported for you to see. There may be a way to set it up to monitor from the device, but I don't know it. Might just be a project for ya!

You may be much better off with a flat panel directional antenna. Yagis are not very forgiving on non line of site situations. With no line of sight I always suggest flat panels. I use a T-mobile plan direct from T-Mobile in an LTE router. I told them I was using it in a tablet. They gave me the Magenta Plus unlimited plan for tablets. Its like $50 a month. SimpleMobile should also work great for like $50 or $60 a month. BillA is our local SimpleMobile expert I think.

B71 is a far reaching band. Lock your modem out of B71. It may see that radio and like it better. Maybe just lock it to B2, B4, B66 and B12.

Yeah, usually it should start shutting itself off at 75c or so. 95 is high.
You can remove the top cover, but youll have to remove the antennas an mount or secure them somehow. I 3D print a bracket for them myself.

Also not sure why you are including the leading zeroes. Did I miss the need for this? I believe it isn't necessary.

The Quectel modem has the ability to lock to specific radios on each cell tower, the Sierra Wireless modems do not. This may be your way to lock to the cell towwe of choice. I have not played with this command but you may want to try the Quectel ad look up the command AT+QNWLOCK

It is a VERY expensive process to get carrier certified. MOFI did a great job of setting themselves up in this niche. regardless of their lack of customer service. It's almost uncanny how many people come here to get support. I say bring them here all day, more info the better for this forum.

The router will need roughly 60W-70W of available power for itself on poe. 72W POe injectors are what I use, the The Wireless Haven store on facebook has them. You'll want to use M and D/G, though the em20 is meant for 4 antennas, it should work. There is no command to see each antennas signal strength. After setting those commands you HAVE to hard reboot the modem either with AT+CFUN=1,1 or a full power cycle. Otherwise it may act very odd.

The non poe and poe versions are exactly the same, except the ability to also power over poe on that version. It can also be powered via standard wall plug. The Wireless Haven isn't stocking the non poe version right now.

I use an att ipad post paid plan. Works fine. You dont need another device on plan to get it. They just charge like a $50 setup fee if you dont have a phone plan as well.
