Your cell tower may be different than 'others' can you get better speeds with a cell phone in the same location using ATT? Your tower may be congested, or the em12 may be sticking to a band that is saturated, even though it may be the strongest signal.

You've lost 4.4 dBi on your cables alone. That makes a net gain of maybe 1-2dBi over stock antennas. Upgrading to LMR400 will get you back 2.1 dBi. If you put the modem and router up on the pole you could get most all of it back.

Your number one focus should be signal clarity and strength.

In general the flat panel directional antennas do very well when dealing with trees.

Do you have the "TTL" setting turned on or are you using the full custom TTL under Network-->Firewall-->Custom Rules? The only way TTL works for Verizon and Tmobile is if there are both IPV4 and IPV6 rules in place. the "TTL" feature only does IPV4 Paste this into the Custom Rule...

In order to change the TTL settings you should first delete it all and reset and allow the router to connect without any custom TTL settings, them enter the new custom TTL settings, then reboot again. I don't know why this works, but it does. Of course that is assuming your TTL settings are correct....

I've had great luck with the Quectel RM500Q (both GL and AE versions) using a WG3526-P router. I use a USB3 to M.2 adapter for the modem to use the USB3 bus on the WG3526 router. the WG1608 router seems to have random issues that I don't think earns itself a spot on the "most stable" list....

Could always try to "reflow" it as a last ditch. :)

Have you tried replacing the power supply? Sometimes USB modem dropouts are as simple as a faulty/dying power supply.
