Re: dBm and download speed aren't matching up

Sorry I didn't see that you are using your cell as a hotspot and the booster with the parabolic. Others have already posted that a "booster" does just that noise and all. In fact a booster can be worse than nothing at all because of this. Also a booster does not have the ability to use MIM...

Re: dBm and download speed aren't matching up

Only real way to minimize noise is with a MIMO antenna setup, which boosters do not support. All LTE routers require a SIM card in the modem. As I pointed out in one of my previous posts I was at the same point as you, nosey signal and poor booster performance. So I switched over to using a LTE rout...

Re: OPENVPN forward on a NEXQ6GO

Thanks, I've looked around on ModemsAndMen but nothing really for answers. I've also looked around on OpenWRT which I used to know inside and out many years ago. I scaled back my testing to just getting ICMP (ping) to work from an external IP.

Re: OPENVPN forward on a NEXQ6GO

So I ended up using ngrok.com as the tunnel into my network behind the LTE. I've got a stock Pi4 on the LAN side of my network with VNC enabled. Installed and setup ngrok to run on boot/reboot "./ngrok tcp 5900" And all is good for remote access of my LAN. I mostly needed it for configurin...

If so, that'd rock! Post it here: https://wirelessjoint.com/viewforum.php?f=21
Yes, I've got a bit more testing, once I'm happy with it and know it's works well I'll write it up

Re: LTE Provider options for Home Internet

Hi all, I've been using Visible for a while with my EM7565 setup, but lately I've been getting throttled to 5mbit pretty consistently. Couple that with high pings and significant streaming throttling and I'm looking for a new LTE option. What's everyone using these days for a reliable, decently fas...

Re: Hi anyone have some experience

Do you need 5g WiFi? Are you going to use your own WiFi home router or a mesh network? If you don't need 5g or are going to use your own home router/mesh then the NEXQ6GO The Wireless Haven works great.

Re: Hi anyone have some experience

The reason for this antenna array. 3 pairs of crossed polarized. Each pair going to a LTE router. This is 8 miles from the tower over two ridges heavily forested in the Cascade mountains .

Ivanesteva90 wrote: Sun Aug 22, 2021 4:21 am Thanks , wow do you have two LTE ROUTERS,
Actually I've got 3, two with the EM12 and the other with a EM7455. All connected to a TP-LINK ER605 router for load balancing.

Re: OPENVPN forward on a NEXQ6GO

I am interested in this. Is the free account capable of occasionally linking into to a remote LTE network to run (e.g.) RealVNC on a LTE attached Windows desktop, like OpenVPN provides? If the answer is yes, using RPi3 with GO as my main router, can it be added to the Pi3 or should I upgrade to a P...

Re: EM12-G: MIMO vs CA

For the EM12

AT+QRSRP
+QRSRP: -105,-107,-140,-140

First number is your primary antenna, the 2nd is your diversity antenna.

Re: Changing TTL with a Scheduled Task

If you build this task, how do you know what to set the TTL to? Is there really a reliable pattern like "after one hour set it to 66, next hour 67 etc? I thought it was kind of random. Maybe you were going to try a selection of them and pick the best speed. That sounds challenging to say the l...
