You can do it, but you'd have to get a pcie to m.2 adapter, get the firmware to work, then be stuck with the 100mbps max throughput of the mofi router. My order has no ETA currently.

I have the latest one with the protection circuit, been running it as my primary and it hasn't burned out yet. I got it from The Wireless Haven, will be posting a review once I get a second modem to work in it. I don't know what gen the ones on ebay are.
