Anything will be better than your paddle antenna as a secondary haha. But, really the secondary is just that, secondary. It matters, but a lot less once you have the grid (as your primary) pointed at the tower. Speaking of the panel antennas with two inside, I assume you're speaking of one like this...

TTL is used to mask hotspot use. If for some reason they are seeing hotspot data and you have used your limit of hotspot data, your done for that billing cycle and there is no resetting to get speeds back.
