Re: MC7455 Lock on Cell Id?

The command to lookup is AT+QNWLOCK, this is specific to Quectel modems, and the details on parameters are important. You have to use other commands, like AT+QENG="servingcell" and AT+QENG="neighborcell" to gather the info needed to enter into the AT+QNWLOCK command. The AT Comma...

Re: MC7455 Lock on Cell Id?

The em series modems are m.2 key B form factor, and most routers will take them via a mpcie to m.2 key b adapter.

Like so.....

I know of one router out there that takes the m.2 directly, like the M2M NEXG H721.

Use the FIRMWARE recovery method and upload the lastest WiFiX firmware which works with all versions of the EM20-G Firmware.

Re: EM20 Antenna Connection and commands?

Dunno. Maybe? Its a great modem, I'm guessing they set its price point low and still didnt have mass commercial orders. The EM160 isnt much cheaper.

Re: Lost Towers?

I have had the sprint tower near me go down for 4-5days. For the first couple days they couldn't get the key to the gate that let them onto private property and then it took a few days to fix the problem. Anyway when I loose reception like that I just call my provider and see they have any issues wi...

Re: EM12 losing what seems like DNS and internet

I agree that running through a VPN sucks and is a last resort for most, however, I was only suggesting to try using a VPN to rule out if the carrier is blocking ports. I have a feeling this happens a lot and most don't realize it. Depending on which test, the diagnostics only shows a partial picture...
