Update: Just for fun went back to a WiFiX set up. This time got a different router. Used a WE826-T2 with EM12 and kept IPV4V6 set up. Made it almost 24 hours before it disconnected. The other set up mentioned above went 4 fulls days with no disconnect. So it does seem that WiFiX/Rooter is the issue...

Well I honestly haven't seen slow down on visible. The ping is high. If that doesn't matter to you it is alright. Basically same as Verizon with higher ping. Maybe other areas are different. But in the sticks where I am this is what I am seeing.

Recently had issues with the new openwrt stuff not having certificate done. Had to use chrome put in the 192.168.1.1 then will get error. Have to go to advanced in the window of the error and say go anyway.
Also do a control and F5 before hand while in chrome.

When I tune in my antennas take my phone with me on roof. Log into rooter and watch signal strength and quality as I turn it.
If try to run speed test on roof it is junk. But the slightest wifi signal will allow to get into the UI and watch those signal readings.

Visible will put up with allot of steaming for her.

I believe the nighthawk will not perform wifi properly with out the battery in. No wifi with no battery no issue though. Used to use one with no battery hooked to different router with the nighthawk wifi off.

Got to make sure your antennas get the frequency you are wanting to pull in. Band 2 is 1900 MhZ I believe. Don't know if you can fix it. The WE826-T2 router is famous for bad WiFi results. For years have been using secondary router like you are talking about. With 5ghz router connected to them been able to get about the same as Ethernet connection.

Before I had T-Mobile home internet just used there post pay phone plans. Used allot of data too and it was just fine. Don't have to worry about streaming throttling.

Make sure these antennas you are using are 50 ohm. Allot of booster antennas are 75 ohm.
